Livestate Activmedia - Service Guideline

This document outlines the process by which Livestate progresses through the development and provision of online services for its clientele. This document should be considered a guide, and may be revised at any time or excluded from the development process altogether.

Throughout this document we will refer to any website, or software being developed by Livestate as the Project. Where it is stated in this document, ‘both parties’, we are referring to Livestate and you, the client.

  • Initial Discussion - The first step that is undertaken is an initial discussion, wherein we will ascertain with you what your goals and motivations are, and what you expect your Project to achieve.

Networking of ideas is crucial at this stage. Working collaboratively will see these ideas formed into the foundations for a Project that is within your desired budget, and that once provisioned will function to your expectations.

Towards the end of this discussion we will provide you with a verbal summary of the Project being requested for clarification. Further to this we will stipulate the desired format and dimensions of images and/or texts to be included in the Project which are to be supplied by you. These documents include, but are not limited to: written content regarding your business, images of your premises, staff photographs, relevant contact information.

All written content should be in an electronic form, as should all images. Furthermore, all images should be of a very high resolution, crisp and of a professional quality. Livestate is able to substitute high quality stock photography if required.

  • Brief and Agreement - Following this discussion, we will draft a Brief outlining what we have collectively agreed will be provisioned at the completion of the Project. This Brief will include all relevant details, covering pricing and budget arrangements, and will include an agreement that will be signed off by all parties entering into the agreement.

By signing off on the Brief, you are indicating your commitment and acceptance to provide all relevant details as previously ascertained and as required by Livestate to provision a thorough and completed Project. If for example you have requested an ‘About Us’ page, you will be required to provide the written content to be included in this page. Livestate is unable, without previous agreement, to draft documents that relate to your business without an intimate knowledge of your business.

Please note that all documents submitted to us to be included in the Project will be spellchecked for typographical errors. This is a courtesy performed by us as our work is reflected in any mistakes visible in any published document in any format.

  • Draft and Revision - Once an Agreement has been signed off Livestate will commence a First Stage Draft of your Project, wherein a layout and model will be prepared and presented to you for inspection and revision. The layout during this stage may only feature that written content, required to be supplied by you, that we have received.

The website model will also be presented to guide you through the mechanics of the site, especially where dynamic content is being delivered.

Following this presentation we will further revise the layout, model and incorporate received written content to your specifications. This process will continue until both parties have agreed upon the desired end result.

  • Completion - Once the Project has been uploaded and made available for public viewing, wherein all content supplied by you has been implemented as per your requirements, and ensuring that the final Project meets your expectations, the Project will be finalized.

Finalization will see both parties sign off on the Agreement indicating that the Project has been completed. It is at this stage that final payment will be required.
